Prosecution

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office prosecutes more than 35,000 cases a year in 17 superior, district and juvenile courts.  Each court has its own designated team, staffed with talented and dedicated Assistant District Attorneys, Victim Witness Advocates, Paralegals and other professionals.

There are 4 superior court teams: Cambridge, Framingham, Malden and Lowell.

There are 12 district court teams: Ayer, Cambridge, Concord, Framingham, Lowell, Marlborough, Malden, Natick, Newton, Somerville, Waltham and Woburn.

There are 3 juvenile court teams: Cambridge, Framingham and Lowell.

There are also 8 specialized teams: the Appeals and Training Bureau; the Child Abuse Unit; the Cyber Protection Unit; the Domestic Violence Program; the Elder and Disabled Persons Unit; the Homicide and Unsolved Murders team; Public Protection, Anti-Terrorism, Corruption and Technology; and Victim Witness Services.
