District Attorney Marian Ryan will host a training for students at Greater Lowell Technical High School on recognizing the signs of domestic violence and identifying resources for victims as part of the Cut It Out Program.

District Attorney Marian Ryan will testify before the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities on H.3042, An Act related to online mandated reporter training and neglect panel. The bill will direct the Department of Children and Families to require mandated reporters to annually complete an online mandated reporter training on how to recognize the signs of abuse and neglect of children.

District Attorney Marian Ryan will deliver blankets to the Wilmington Police Department and Wilmington Fire Department as part of a partnership with Project Linus that allows first responders to provide children who have experienced recent trauma with blankets. District Attorney Ryan will also address Wilmington seniors on how to volunteer for the program.

The task force brings together law enforcement, healthcare professionals and addiction and recovery specialists to talk about what is happening in our communities and to discuss ways to tackle issues surrounding the opioid crisis head on.
